Bright lemon, with green flashes. The complexity and texture of old vine Swartland Chenin Blanc against the visceral freshness of Piketberg Grenache Blanc. Bouncy aromatics of greengage, thatch, white peach, lemon oil and appley freshness, then a fragrant bloom of honeysuckle and jasmine tea, all along a line of mineral intensity. The palate is focused and fine, with a pure core of nectarine and peach. The chalky texture is sculpted by a mouth-coating, pithy acidity; before a slight grip on the savoury finish.
